Renovations for this 13 floor apartment building at 3200 Julian Street in Denver, Colorado commenced in 2015. I was brought into the project based on my previous custom design and fabrication work through Hammered Design, as well as my art expertise. The first phase of the project involved removing the original balcony partitions and replacing them with a modular component that was both contemporary in feel as well as durable and with an ease of attachment/replacement. The design of the partitions challenged my design skills and scale of production, but proved to be highly successful and a highlight in my overall portfolio. The second phase commenced in 2020, and involved select interior art elements, exterior stairwell column motif, portico lighting as well as cladding for an exterior bicycle enclosure. Besides the physical aspects I directly created, I was also involved in a number of aesthetic decisions with the client throughout the process.
